School of Collective Intelligence

Sustain Labs Paris advised Mohammed VI Polytechnic University on the set up of the School of Collective Intelligence. With partners from across the world, the coalition helped shape collective intelligence as a new transdisciplinary field, bringing together insights from cognitive science, data science, computer science, political science, and philosophy to meet the challenges of this century.
AI for Sustainability
Sustain Labs Paris developed the strategy for an AI for Sustainability (AIS) Hub, established for a consortium of leading global technology and energy companies. The AIS Hub is designed to accelerate the use of AI in solving climate, nature and biodiversity challenges, with a focus on emerging economies.
The AIS Hub is built on three pillars:

AIS Emerging Markets Accelerator, which identifies, nurtures and scales startups that leverage AI and innovation for solving climate, nature and biodiversity challenges in emerging economies

AIS University Challenge, which supports students globally to learn about and solve climate and sustainability challenges by leveraging AI in emerging economies

AIS Thought Leadership, which advances AI application for sustainability in emerging economies, through collaborations between industry practitioners and academicians.
Microsoft Sustainability DIY
Sustain Labs Paris and Microsoft have partnered to build Sustainability DIY, an online institution to ‘DIY’ sustainability. Sustainability DIY presents relevant information in a user-friendly manner. Corporate sustainability executives and sustainability practitioners can easily access learning packs and tools to set sustainability targets and report on their sustainability performance. Sustainability DIY de-jargonises sustainability and makes organisations self-reliant towards improving their organisation’s sustainability performance.
